~This is my kitchen inspiration picture~

Twas' a "hard sale" BUT I was able to get approval from the Hubby.  We're currently brainstorming the kitchen remodel AND it's final...it's going to be shabby chik!  I'm so happy.  It really is the perfect style for the ranch/farm house...it's perfect!  It's going to be pretty easy as well.  See pic below, these will be the soft colors and the vibe (of course not everything will be the same as we'll add our own touches and love)

*Big Smile on Mom*

You ever have one of those morning's where everything continues to go wrong?  The alarm doesn't go off (your running late) you spill your coffee on your work clothes that you just ironed and put on, you trip and fall as you run around the house trying to hurry, (your still running late) you can't find the keys to your car (by now your cussing & anxiety is rushing through your blood)  You keep repeating to yourself, I'm late, I'm late, I have to hurry, my boss is gonna' be mad, I have so much work to do and on and on...WELL YA!  You're creating more of what you have!!  You can stop the cycle.  I dare you to change your situation next time one of your morning start like that...It's real simple, real easy...we just have to change what we dwell on...You can use the words below (in purple) or repeat your own words of inspiration if you ever wake up late again and watch your morning turn from stress and a domino effect of "crap" to time for you to stop and get that Caramel Machiato, over ice & extra whip.

"Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts"
Proverbs 4:23 GN

I often turn to inspirational/motivational quotes or affirmations especially when going through a difficult situation...concern...drama...or when advice is needed.  I hope to affirm more often even when life is sunshine and roses.  It's amazing to me the power of positive thinking.  I want to share some of the words that I believe can change a circumstance in an instant, I mean that, but you have to really, truly believe as I do.

When reading the affirmations (especially) it's good to be still, see it in your mind and believe that it's taking place in real time.  The Universe is full of energy and we have the ability to attract whatever we set our mind's to.  The Law of Attraction is a source that I study daily and has brought about significant purpose, realities and even my husband to my life.

Because of the power of words, whatever a person voices he begins to attract.  Be careful what you think for thoughts become actions.

 *Affirmations:

~"I am in right relationship with all people and all situations now."
-Catherine Ponder

~"The Christ in you forgives and releases me now and forever."
-Catherine Ponder

- I am getting wealthier each day.

- My body is healthy and functioning in a very good way.

*Inspirational quotes:

-Denis Waitley

  1. I am reading a book called "Let's Do It, Get Off Our Buts" It's about taking charge of your life and dropping the excuses. The author made a quote that has really stuck with me.. "But is just a 3 letter, 4 letter word." If you drop this "bad" word from your vocabulary, you will be amazed at what you accomplish.
